Inn of the Tartan Fox

What a beautiful place! We were invited to a wedding in the area and decided to stay in a more local place, rather than a hotel. As someone with Celiac Disease, traveling is something that takes lots of planning. When booking the room it allowed me to alert the owners of my food allergy. I would go back for the food alone! Each morning was a three course breakfast; gluten free cooked separate to avoid cross-contamination. The rooms have character, as each is decorated differently than the rest.

Lovely experience at the Tartan Fox! We were looking for a cozy BNB for a weekend of NH hiking, and we are glad we stayed here. Liza, our host was very friendly and accommodating, and cooked us an amazing breakfast. The Inn is very cozy and the room was nicely appointed. Looking forward to the next time we stay here.

Staying at Mike and Liza’s bed and breakfast was an absolute delight from start to finish. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and unbelievably comfortable—truly a perfect place to relax and unwind. Each morning, we woke up to the aroma of a breakfast that could rival any five-star restaurant—fresh, delicious, and clearly made with love. But what really sets this place apart are Mike and Liza themselves. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, they made us feel more like visiting friends than guests. This is the kind of place you find yourself recommending to everyone you know—and we absolutely do. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience we had! The house is charming with eclectic antiques. We had a fireplace in our room! Liza is an incredible host, she took such great care of us. She is so accommodating and friendly. She cooked and served us a 3 course breakfast everyday with amazing service. We spent our evening in their living room by the fireplace.... It was simply magical and relaxing! We will definitely stay here again.

We were in town with our daughter who was attending Keene State College's Alumni Weekend. We have stayed here many times and Mike and Liza were (again) wonderful hosts. Rooms are large and comfortable and breakfasts are awesome. Don't miss out on Liza's delicious "scuffins". We stay here every time we are in the area.
