Inn Kitchen + Bar

A hidden gem in New Hampshire’s lake region. Would fit right into Boston’s South End or New York City with its ambience, service, drinks, and food. I’ve grown up going to Squam for the summers but began coming up and staying at the Inn during the winters, motivated mainly by its proximity to this restaurant (and the complimentary breakfast). 10/10!

I have been there many times with my husband this year. We decided to bring all our friends who have never been and have a Christmas dinner. The food and drinks were over the top. The service was impeccable. Our server was Ashley was so attentive and kind !!! We all can’t wait to go back !!! Short Ribs are the best in the lakes region !!!!

Beautiful, quaint inn and restaurant in Squam Lake area. Fantastic food and drinks. Fun cocktails. Great additions to menu to add new things to try each time we go. Desserts were amazing - key lime pie and homemade ice cream sandwiches were favorites. Our waiter was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Service, ambience and food were refreshing! Thank you. We’ll be back over and over again.

UPDATE Excellent. Very consistent. Beautiful backyard porch setting. Make sure to get the ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Top notch. PREVIOUS Our dinner was excellent. Everyone was super happy and the meal was truly great. The service was excellent. The environment was really great, there is a lot of open-air seating weather half indoors or outdoors and also it was very breezy and people were very well spread out which is very comforting in this current time. I had the burger which was excellent and people were very happy with their various dishes and we ended off with many of the ice cream sandwiches which were delightful. This is a very good pic and I do recommend this place. Enjoy!!

The Squam Lake Inn restaurant has been an excellent spot for some years now. They had some service issues before, but have been consistent for us for at least the past couple years. The menu is balanced and spread out nicely over various options. The duck wings load up on sweet and umami themes, and it works. The hot/cold scallop dish is perfect for a warmer summer evening. They also have plenty of staples for the more picky eaters. Overall worth a bit of a drive, especially if you can get outdoor seating on a pleasant day.
