Inn At Windmere

This Inn is a Charm. Sue and her husband went above and beyond and were incredible hosts. The suite was beautiful, charming and comfortable. The homemade breakfast served on China was scrumptious. If l travel out to the Midwest again, l will surely make it there again.

Our stay at the Inn at Windmere was simply lovely. Paul and Susie were accommodating to our late evening arrival, and there was hot tea and pastries available when we got there. The breakfasts were delicious (they easily made a vegetarian option when I asked) and the room was clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking the outdoor space and had an overall perfect time. Thank you Paul & Susie!

Susie and Paul are the most gracious and kind host and hostess!! Their home is beautiful and very relaxing. Just the kind of place you want for a get together with friends. My room, the Garden Room, was lovely and very comfortable! And the area we were for our group activities (I was there for a digital scrapbook event.) was comfortable and the WiFi we needed worked great for me. Our breafasts were delicious and plentiful. We were able to bring our our snacks and extra food for other meals that there was no need to leave to go anywhere else for meals. Thank you, Susie and Paul. Hoping I can come back for another relaxing visit!

The Inn at Windmere was the perfect spot for our scrapbooking retreat! We did most of our scrapbooking in the basement, where there was plenty of space for us to work, yet we were close enough that we could all converse easily. The room was well-lighted and well-supplied with snacks. We also had access to a huge sitting room where we could watch videos and relax. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the hosts, Paul and Susie, couldn't have been more charming and helpful. We even got to enjoy a harp concert by their daughter Elizabeth! The bedrooms were comfortable and charmingly decorated. Highly recommend for scrapbookers, quilters, and other crafters. We have already reserved for next year and can't wait to come back!

Excellent breakfasts served on lovely china. Comfortable bed. Many cozy seating areas to sit and visit. Truly gracious hosts. Beautiful, immaculate and welcoming B&B. Country setting. Location is conveniently close to shops and restaurants. We’d definitely stay there again!
