Inn at Blackberry Creek

The Inn at Blackberry Creek is the best B&B experience I've ever had. The grounds and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous and comfortable, it's location is quiet but central, the breakfasts are Michelin Star worthy, but MOST importantly the people that work here are so caring and go out of their way to make you feel valued and special. For instance, they didn't let our food allergy compromise on the menu - they modified every recipe to make sure we could have the same, amazing breakfast as anyone else. They gave us recommendations for what to do while in town and we had long, fun conversations after breakfast just hanging out. Spent two nights at thee Inn at Blackberry Creek while in Walla2 for some wine tasting. We typically stay in BnB type places when we travel, so this review reflects our many experiences with this type of lodging across the world. We were very impressed. The staff was warm, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, as was the entire house - charming but also very tasteful. The Inn is very quiet and the bed was super comfortable with a variety of pillow options to suit any preference. Nice robes were provided. Highly recommended--the true essence of a stellar bed and breakfast home in historic Walla Walla. Rachel most welcoming innkeeper showed us around the beautiful house. Lil' Kitty Daisy Mae made it even more enjoyable. Rachel's breakfasts were amazing. Zachary, thank you too. Wonderful, traditional B&B tucked away in a cozy and private setting, a quick drive or bike ride to downtown. Room was well-appointed with up-scale furnishings, sinks, showers throughout; you can tell the owners paid a lot of attention to detail during remodels. Breakfast was divine, and was a creative "pseudo a la carte" format where you could design your own breakfast feast from a daily selection of options. This was a quick, one-night stay for us but we are now planning a trip to Walla Walla wine country with some friends next summer -- and Blackberry Inn will surely be our preferred landing spot!
