Ingenhuett on High is one of Comfort’s treasures. I’ve attended meetings, luncheons, and evening events here, and every time I’m impressed by how versatile and welcoming the space feels. The historic details—the stone walls, wood beams, and open courtyard—create such a unique backdrop, yet the layout works beautifully for different kinds of gatherings. The atmosphere manages to be both professional and relaxed, which makes it ideal for business functions while still being perfect for celebrations. Every event I’ve attended has been seamless, with staff who are attentive and thoughtful. It’s a place that truly elevates any occasion, and I’m so glad we have it right here in Comfort.

We had our wedding at the Ingenhuett on 3/25 for 160ish people, and it was absolutely the perfect venue. The venue is the perfect mix of old world with modern touches. I had the ceremony in the koi pond area, and it was beyond beautiful. Better than I could have ever imagined. The whole space is very functional, and there are lots of different options for seating/ceremony which was great given we wanted the ceremony outdoors. The bridal suite is part of what sold me too. It is huge and bright with so much space to spread out. Lots of chairs for hair and makeup as well which is great. I just cannot say enough amazing things about the venue! Add to that, that Jeanine was so easy to work with and responsive in the months leading up. Another huge plus is the 3 hotels in walking distance which

We hosted our wedding here last October and we were so happy we did! All of the charm of Comfort, TX wrapped up in this picture perfect venue. We were so thankful for the variety of beautiful spaces that we were able to use on the big day. The bridal suite is light and dreamy, the hall is the perfect space for tables and dancing, the koi pond outdoors is gorgeous for cocktail hour, the basement was a fun moody vibe for my husband and his groomsmen to get ready in and the back garden was the perfect warm spot for our wedding party photos. Thank you to everyone who made our big day so special!

I'm a wedding photographer in San Antonio and recently had the honor of working at this venue again. It's such a beautiful little venue with a lot of character. The staff and everyone who works there are so awesome, responsive, helpful, and caring about their couples. I highly recommend this venue if you're on the search for a wedding venue!

Ingenhuett on High, (formerly the historic Ingenhuett General Store) is a rich, warm, and inviting venue center. We attended an incredible wine release party presented by Singwaters Winery, and the facilities were absolutely perfect! Highly recommend for weddings, meetings, or etc., it will not disappoint! And there are numerous B-n-B's next door, and a wide assortment of restaurants, and shops to visit while in Comfort, TX.
