Indian Ocean Restaurant

From the moment you step into Indian Ocean , you know that you are in for a delightful evening. We had made a reservation for 4 and they had our table ready and waiting for us. The décor of this restaurant is so inviting – the staff so welcoming & attentive – the food so delicious. You will be amazed by the changing wall art on the back wall - a huge video display featuring ocean scenes, We especially like that this restaurant is a BYOB with no corkage fee. Our server this evening was Suraj who took excellent care of us. They always start you off with Papadum (light crispy Indian wafers) and two dipping sauces – so good. You can request the heat of your dish – we all chose mild. We enjoyed the following dishes: two orders of Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Shrimp, and Asparagus M

Longtime take out orderer, first time diner. We stopped in with no reservation on Valentine’s Day and they squeezed us in. Service was friendly and the food was phenomenal. I love that they have panipuri and can’t wait to come back for the buffet. Portions are huge and easily serve for more than one meal, easily justifying the price. My only critical feedback is that the carpet needs cleaning or replacing. Otherwise- Will definitely be back!

This place is honestly AMAZING! The food is super delicious, comes out fast, and the staff are some of the friendliest people ever. Their price is so reasonable. The inside is beautiful, clean, and has such a nice vibe. And seriously… their buffet?? It’s insanely good — they have everything! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re definitely missing out. I’ll 100% be coming back with my family :))

We really enjoyed our first time at Indian Ocean! There was a good selection of options, and everything was delicious. We appreciated that they bring a fresh basket of Naan to your table, and they also had mango lassis included in the buffet which I've never seen at a buffet before. They also had a TV wall with a soccer game on, and another with the Ravens game which was an extra touch!

Met an old friend for lunch. Indian Ocean, halfway between York and Baltimore, provided a good meeting place. Also, it offered momo, and I love the Nepalese handmade dumplings. Turns out both of us try to eat veggie, so we passed on the menu and enjoyed a number of dishes on the buffet. Every dish we tried was fresh and tasty. Not too spicy--typical for buffets. The interior was bright and airy. Staff made sure our water glasses were filled but otherwise left us alone. I'll be returning to try the momo.
