India Spice House

Very disappointing experience! We were regulars years ago and visited again recently, but the quality has gone downhill. Staff showed no courtesy and behaved as if it were a self-service place. We waited almost 30 minutes for our order of just 2 dishes. The veg street noodles were extremely bland and nothing like Indo-Chinese—just plain noodles tossed with a few peas and carrots. We had to ask for ketchup and soy sauce to make them edible. Even after giving feedback, the staff didn’t seem to care. A complete waste of time and money. Definitely not coming back!

Food is amazing. The flavors and love they put into their dishes is evident. Food is reasonably priced.

Ordered a Briyani by calling in, the staff said it’s a “special briyani” it was the worst briyani of our lives. It was rice in curry like a child has mixed it. When called to correct the situation as I paid more then $100 for the order, the manager/owner was rude and didn’t want to correct the situation. The worst service ever!

Indian Space House is a really solid place if you’re looking for flavorful, well-spiced Indian food that feels homemade rather than overly commercial. The menu has a good variety, and everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Curries were rich without being heavy, the naan was warm and soft, and the portion sizes were generous enough to feel like good value. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it a nice spot for both a casual dinner and a longer sit-down meal. Service was friendly and polite, and you can tell the staff cares about the food and the experience. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is consistency and timing. On our visit, the wait for food was a bit longer than expected, and one dish came out slightly less hot than ideal. N

Went for lunch buffet and was satisfied with the options. There were a lot of rice and starch options as well as sauces to top the rice. The naan could’ve been better, it was a little chewy and dry, but I think that’s just part of providing a bread option at an open buffet format. The chicken legs were spicy enough — I like spice and even for me the spice level accumulated. I’m interested in coming back and trying items from the main menu.
