Customer Reviews
This weekend my partner and I had the opportunity to visit Imperial Beach. Our plan was to walk along the pier and then go out for dinner. Our plan changed when we arrived at this lovely place. The staff had such a great vibe, the food was delicious with its own unique style. We ordered the Bulgogi beef bowl, the Spicy pork bowl, a Honey Citrus Tea, and a beer. The music was great, and the view was breathtaking. Thank you for the experience!
This restaurant is such a gem not just because of the food, but because of the location. It’s literally at the end of the Imperial Beach pier, surrounded by ocean on all sides, and the views (especially at sunset!!) are unbelievable. Even just grabbing a drink and walking around feels like peak beach-day vibes. I visited during their soft opening about a month ago, and even then the place already looked great. With the new owner, the Asian (especially Korean) fusion options are a fantastic addition to Imperial Beach. The vibe here is very relaxed. There are people fishing nearby, so it’s not a fancy “dining dining” atmosphere, but that’s not what you come here for. It’s about the food, the ocean breeze, the views, and the laid-back pier energy. Plenty of outdoor seating with benches and
It’s a beautiful restaurant in a truly stunning location. With the new owner, both the exterior and interior have become much cleaner, and the food has improved as well. The rice bowl are definitely worth trying, and the Korean ramen is absolutely delicious. I also tried the fish n chips and the waffle fries — both were great. The rice bowl and ramen are the best I’ve had in San Diego. If you visit Imperial Beach or go fishing at the pier, this is a restaurant you must stop by.
Came for a casual lunch with my parents and brother. There was something for everyone on the menu. Love that they carry fish and chips and chowder for those that prefer traditional pier food offerings. We had mixed shrimp and fish and chips (the shrimp were huge and juicy, the chips were waffle cut, and the batter was a light and crispy cornmeal coating), fried calamari (huge and tender, cornmeal coating), clam chowder (on the thinner side, but that’s a personal preference), spicy edamame (freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned), beef bulgogi bowl (deliciously marinated and tender, properly steamed rice, served with spicy mayo and kimchi), lemon wedges, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce were provided. We had such a feast trying out the flavorful foods. A really fun experience on a cold and
As a Korean, I’m always a bit curious—and sometimes skeptical—when I hear the term “Korean fusion.” But the restaurant I visited this time completely exceeded my expectations. They serve an impressive variety of dishes that blend Korean, Western, Japanese, and other cuisines so harmoniously that every plate felt balanced and thoughtfully crafted. The Spicy Mayo Salmon Bowl had a sauce with the kind of depth and refinement you’d expect from a fine-dining restaurant. And the Wow! Garlic Shrimp Po’ Boy was honestly the best Po’ Boy I’ve ever had. After the meal, I had a chance to chat with the owner and learned that he’s a professionally trained chef with a nationally certified culinary license from Korea. Suddenly, everything made sense—the flavors clearly reflect his expertise and experienc
