Il Forno a Legna

I recently tried two pies here, the Diablo and the Margherita, and both were absolutely delicious. The service was solid and the pizza came out great. It was actually my first time having seafood on a pizza, and I was genuinely surprised in the best way it tasted different from the usual, but it worked perfectly and I loved it. Overall, this isn’t your typical “common” pizza spot, and that’s exactly why I’ll be back. Highly recommend.

I was visiting my home town of Rahway NJ and stopped in for a bite to eat. Juan the owner made us feel so welcomed, and even joined us for a moment at the table. I cannot say enough good things about Il Forno a Legna. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for anything from a casual family dinner to a special celebration. We had the chicken Parmesan, which is rated in the top 21 for all of NJ, but we think they should be #1! We also had a couple of woodfire pizzas which were delicious.

The beef lasagna yummy, arancini delicious and vodka penne great. The server was nice and the restaurant had a quaint atmosphere. We took the cannolis to go. I would go back. If you are in the area check it out.

Ordered three brick oven pizza. First was plain my wife liked it, 2nd was margarita which was very good and third was the tri color with pesto,vodka and tomatoes which we really didn't like. We sat outside on a beautiful day. Music was good but to loud and hard to talk. Overall good place.

Amazing food as always! My family loved everything we ordered for New Year’s. We’ve ordered from here multiple times and are never disappointed. The extra gift was a wonderful surprise—thank you!
