IHOP

I want to take a moment to recognize Ashley, our waitress at the IHOP in Bear. She was truly exceptional from start to finish. You could feel her kindness the moment she greeted us. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcomed—like she was happy we were there. Ashley checked on us consistently without ever hovering. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, kept our drinks full, and made sure every detail of our meal was right. Even with a busy dining room, she handled everything with patience, professionalism, and the best attitude. What really stood out was her positive energy and the way she treated us like more than just another table. Driving through Delaware and stopped here for late breakfast. Was hungry and had a little wait for the food but it was worth it. Everything was delicious. Pancakes soft and buttery. Spinach and mushroom omelette was amazing and so big. They have turkey sausages!! Donny our server was great and super attentive and definitely recommend. Thanks again for a good lunch/late breakfast.

I was traveling and decided to stop for breakfast, so I ordered IHOP online. I was really looking forward to it, but sadly I was very disappointed — the portion was much smaller than what’s shown in the photo, and the hash browns were bland and undercooked. I was hoping for a breakfast that would lift my mood and give me energy, but it ended up being a letdown. I hope the quality improves and matches what’s advertised.

Food is good, service is somewhat slow. Orders occasionally come out wrong, but they fix it. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes to remake on top of about 25 minutes average you would wait before. Realistically I would give this place a 3.5 out of 5. It's nothing new, but a good place to hang out if you have time.
