Icing on the Cake

Oh My Goodness! Wonderful! I chose Icing on the Cake after a recommended bakery didn't answer the phone for our Wedding. Boy am I glad. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! I gave them inspiration they did amazingly. Also we added Gluten Free Cupcakes to our spread with the same flavors and the guests loved them! they were gone. We provided the flowers.

Wanted to give a shout out to IOTC! I was a little bit of a cakezilla because I have never been there before and I’m very particular about my cakes. I like to give the baker/decorator creative freedom but again I’m particular lol. I gave 3 different cake designs with the instructions of not looking too kid like because my son was turning 16 and they hit the nail on the head. I loved the design they completed for me for my son’s 16th birthday. I was afraid of how the design may come out being all buttercream but the decorators buttercream skills are awesome! The cake was moist and my family really enjoyed it. Thanks again. I have 7 kiddos so I’ll definitely be using them again. Picture of final cake with the topper.

I ordered a vintage heart shaped cake. Total was $130. The cake was super cute. It had all the bows and pearls & matched exactly what we ordered. Tho the “Happy Sweet 16” could have been bigger on the cake but the overall look of the cake was perfect! Now as far as the flavor…the cake was extremely dry and sponge like. .No flavor to the cake. Which was strange. Only flavor was the strawberry filling. The inside was not even or consistent with the filling/ icing stuffing so cutting it was it extremely hard. The amount of icing on the cake is where it ruined it. Over an inch THICKKKK.. & as I cut it, everything started falling apart. Icing came off the top & filling oozed out. Each piece looked awful. We absolutely loved our wedding cake!! Icing on the cake did such an amazing job arranging our edible flower pieces exactly the way we had envisioned and the cake itself was so delicious. They even offer a complimentary cake on your one year anniversary! Cant reccomend this bakery enough.

Ordered a birthday cake for my son’s 1st birthday that was camp themed. It was exactly what I asked for and described and so so adorable. Everyone at the party raved about it. I got cookies and cream cake and filling and it was very good. It was a fairly expensive cake, but with how much detail there was I’m not surprised and it was worth it. I will be coming back for future cakes!
