Ichiban Oakhurst Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi

My son and I visited Ichiban on a Friday evening- the restaurant was very busy; however, we never felt rushed and the environment was very pleasant. Our server was very prompt with greeting us and offered warmed hand wipes. The appetizers were delicious (edamame, steamed vegetable gyoza, and yakitori) - they came to our table quickly and hot! Both soups (miso and the mushroom onion that came with the hibach) were delicious. the sushi (Tiger Roll and Firecracker) were fresh and generous and my son enjoyed the double protein (beef and chicken) hibachi. Our eyes were a bit bigger than our stomachs. It was a wonderful meal!

Such a great time with our gymnastics team! Service was very quick! Plenty of fast appetizers & drinks! Had a dedicated server the entire time! She has the kids laughing, what fun! Thanks for a wonderful time and Awesome food...plenty to take home as well! Everything on the menu is sooo good! Had a great time Thanks!

This is our favorite hibachi spot! The food is always delicious and cooked perfectly. The chefs make it fun and entertaining, and my kids absolutely love it every time we go. Great food, great experience — highly recommend for families!

Hibachi is always great there . Sushi too. Passed on the Hibachi grill tonight after trying to place us 2 at a hibachi table group who already ordered and started eating. Asked for the dining room . All good. Ordered sushi, and Hibachi combos table side. Not the same experience. Temperature control was off. Noodles , meat and vegetables were cool. Rice was warm . Vegetables were hard . Soup , salad , sushi and entree very very rushed . If you really want true Hibachi...wait for the Hibachi table where your comfortable and not crammed into someone else's fun night.
