Ichiban

First time going there; had a great time even by myself it was a great experience. The server was pleasant and the food was amazing had a mix later of sushi 🍣 with a side of miso soup and salad 🥗, prices were on point with what they offer. Will Go back when am craving Japanese cuisine.

I've been here a couple of times with a friend, so I decided to take my girlfriend here and she loved it as much as I do. The fish is always fresh and the types of sushi are all great. The service is great and there are free refills for soda, which is a good bonus..

I dont know. We try them out once a year and we always have the same experience. It is probably ok for some, but I crave good sushi from Hawaii. The one from this place is overcomplex with chunky bits, more than three bites for each piece, many sauces... I don't like presentation of cold roll right up to a hot tempura roll. I am sashimi girl, but I can appreciate good crafty roll as well. They are not bad. I think they just cater to the neighborhood taste.

Very nice surprise while traveling to Chicago. Good sushi and a good price. The sushi chefs are good but they dont talk much 😉. If you're looking for a quick bite or a nice dinner... Ichiban is a nice option. Give them a try. You'll like it. I guarantee it.

Went for all you can eat. Very fair price and they give you a lot of time. Our waitress was great and very friendly and helpful. Overheard her explaining and suggesting different rolls to the table next to us. My only complaint is all the sauce they put on their rolls. I know it's a preference and next time I go I will ask for less or no sauce or even sauce on the side because I feel it takes away from the quality of the roll sometimes. Very good for the price. Left extremely full but I could have definitely had more without the rolls drowned in sauces.
