I Love Korean BBQ

The portions here are HUGE! The kalbi combo is a steal and the marinade is amazing. We ended up eating here three times during our five day trip in Ko Olina. A mini size was perfect for me (2 kalbi ribs with rice and two sides). My husband did well with the regular (3 kalbi ribs with rice and four sides). You can also buy more side dishes. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. P.S., my husband couldn’t stop man crushing on the cook/owner? He looks like a Korean actor!

I just received my order and 1 x 4. Spicy BBQ Chicken ENTREES Regular ($19.99) Choice of 1st Vegetable: Edamame Choice of 2nd Vegetable: Bean Sprouts Choice of 3rd Vegetable: Long Rice Choice of 4th Vegetable: Long Rice $19.99 Did not have the meat in the order! When I called “ E Kim” blamed the delivery driver!!! This is very odd as supposedly the order was checked prior to sending the order out. The delivery driver was used and recommended to us by your establishment as we ordered online through your establishment! “E Kim” the manager advised she could offer a replacement at another time. I am visiting Hawaii this is my last night how will this help me now! No help ridiculous. Believe me I will be placing a wonderful online review and contacting Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) Food

Food is very TASTY which is why I kept coming back for years. However, they are very SKIMPY on their PORTIONS. Their meat jun is amazing! Their policy on amount of SAUCE is RIDICULOUS. I bought a side of meat jun for $17 dollars plus an $8 tip, and they had the audacity to give me a small container not even HALFWAY full not even 1 oz worth, and then they want to CHARGE me extra for more sauce.... seriously?! This is my first review with 2 ⭐ I don't ever do this but after years of coming here and there's no change I'm done. I can spend $25 for a combo plate at a sit-down restaurant instead.

Got three combo plates and they were heaaaavy!!! Great variety of cold sides to go along with the mains, I got the last Mac salad but it was on Black Friday and around 4:00 in the afternoon so normally I would think they wouldn’t run out. We got kalbi with spicy ahi, bbq chicken and shoyu poke and it was enough to share so we could really get a good taste of everything.

The food took a little while but it was well worth the wait. The garlic chicken and bbq chicken was delicious. The mac salad was a little more mayonnaise-y than I would normally expect. Cucumber kimchi was good, spicy edamame tasted more salty than spicy but was good. Potatoes are always good! Would definitely come back to try some of their other options.
