Hyderabad Cafe Indian Cuisine - San Diego

I was super excited to see punugulu and masala mirchi bajji on the appetizer menu and gave this place a try. The ambiance was wonderful with some Telugu movie songs playing in the background. All the portion sizes were large. The veg mancho soup was very salty and it was fixed after we gave the feedback to the waiter. Mirchi bajji didnt really have much of masala stuffing which made it super spicy to eat. I couldn"t eat more than a few bites. Punugulu were great with crispy texture. Falooda was yummy with right amount of sweetness.

Ordered dum biriyani and vijaywada biriyani. Both are awesome . Good and chicken quality was best tender. And chicken dry item I think drums . That was awesome. Good newly opened and ample space and friendly staff. Great biriyani to taste . If u in there don’t miss it.

Loved the food and ambience. We ordered veg and non veg thali. Enjoyed the authentic South Indian taste. We were disappointed with the long wait time and lack of good customer service.

Such a solid Hyderabad-style spot in San Diego. The ambiance is warm, the service is attentive, and the menu has a lot of variety with authentic South Indian dishes. The mirchi bajji was easily my favorite—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. Honestly, it’s been a while since I’ve had food that tastes this real here. I will visit again to try other food choices. :)
