Hy-Vee Grocery Store

There was an upper management woman who was very rude to my friend and I because I had my puppy with me, (mind you puppy was being well behaved, not causing any issues, brightening the day of anyone who laid eyes on her, as she does... And this was on one of our freezing, snow blizzard days, so I couldn't bring myself to leave her in the car) my friend took the puppy to the door to allow me to finish the little shopping left and this woman tells my friend that they have to get out of the store and if they don't we will be banned from the store. I mean lady come on... what were they supposed to do stand outside and freeze to death. They weren't hurting anybody. Also, I shop for people, and of all of the places ive shopped, nobody has ever had an issue with her being there besides this one w

I like Hy Vee. They have good sales. Love the deli. The Raytown location is my least favorite though. The parking lot is dirty and lots of trash. They need more help. Not enough cashiers. Usually have to wait in long lines. The manager doesn't know much about products they carry. Asked about Wide Awake Ice coffee and she thought they were waiting on a truck. They didn't have any on the shelves. I found out at another HyVee the company quit making it. They also have very limited disabled parking.

Nice, clean, neat... helpful crew! However, just being TOTALLY honest... WAY THE HECK OVERPRICED! Bring your prices out of the stratosphere please. — We save about ⅓ or more on our grocery basics at Aldi.

HyVee is a great grocery store. They have a large selection of gluten free as well as other healthy living foods. Dont forget to check out their awesome liquor dept. We need more stores like this and less stores like Walmart.

I’m an Instacart driver and had to complete a self-checkout order at this Hy-Vee. The process already takes a long time since employees have to scan the groceries, but the experience was made worse by the rude attitude of the employee assisting me. The woman with short hair (Caucasian) spoke to me in a very rude and dismissive tone and made me feel uncomfortable while I was just trying to do my job. There’s no reason for anyone—customer or delivery driver—to be treated that way. I hope management addresses her behavior because basic respect and professionalism should be expected from all staff.
