Customer Reviews
Fried rice is an insult to chinese food, chow mein is good but lacks flavor, the sesame chicken is actually great, very meaty, not too much breading, good flavor and texture. The orange chicken is soggy and underwhelming, too sweet, and way too much breading. If you go, definitely get the chow mein and add soy and get the seseme chicken. The crab rangoons are also way too sweet, and not a good flavor, but good texture and fill. The guy helping me was nice, but the woman at the register seemed to be rushing me a bit. Overall, it's not bad. Good for if you need something quick and are already at hyvee, I wouldn't go out to get it specifically.
disappointed in the service, i felt like I was being rushed despite being the only costumer. Didn’t ask which rice I wanted and had the food labeled wrong so when I said which one i wanted i got something different because of incorrect labeling. lastly, forgot my fortune cookie, which was included in my meal. Food was okay but overall experience didn’t impress me.
wanted white rice and got fried rice, which was bad. forgot fortune cookie and had to ask for my second side again.
Very Disappointed with my last visit because all they had was 1 stir fry type entree pork & green beans which was not flavorful, the other entree’s were the fried sweet sour chicken, General tsos chicken, sesame chicken smothered in sauce. Got the sesame chicken & it was not crisp, it was gross & soggy. I prefer king pao chicken, Mongolian beef, beef or chicken & broccoli, garlic chicken with veggies. Not sure if I’ll ever go back again. Not near as good as House of Chen that’s for sure!
The fried rice was undercooked, crunchy, and flavorless. The orange chicken was smothered in sauce as if trying to cover up the tasteless chicken. The egg roll may as well have been damp cardboard. Never again. What a waste of money.
