Hy-Vee Bakery

Ordered a Frozen cake for my daughter's birthday party. The lid of the box didn't close all the way and pushed the Anna and Elsa decor into and across the cake. Perhaps get boxes that properly fit your cakes or don't put decorations on at the store for them to get destroyed. Heard wonderful things about hyvee cakes and I'm sure it tastes fine but if it were my business, I would never want a cake leaving my establishment like this.

It is an extremely sad day when you go into Hy-Vee expecting to find a higher quality of a birthday cake only to find their bakery section is completely and pathetically out done by Walmart and Price Cutter, now known as King Cash Saver. For Hy-Vee to believe to be so superior on the rest of their products and their bakery to fall so flat on its face is completely disappointing. I don’t ever recommend using their bakery for anything. Just go to Walmart or Price Cutter. You will find what you want, and be much happier with the appearance and the quality.

Hyvee has done several custom birthday cakes over the last 10 years for our family. They taste great, are affordable, and they don't require much advanced notice on an order. Whatever idea or theme my kids had (including a crocodile cake) they were able to make just by sharing a photo.

Hy-Vee did such an amazing job on our wedding cake! They made our visions come to life. They are so understanding and want to make sure you get what you asked for. The cake was so good and everyone at the reception loved it. I would highly suggest coming to Hy-Vee Bakery for any dessert needs!

Grocery store filled, with many varieties of merchandise and products. Love the idea of having a butcher, on the scene, to cut steaks and wrap the selected meat per pound in individual wrapping paper. Also have baggers available to bag your merchandise. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful.
