Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

I absolutely love this location! Food is great, of course. But the staff! Sylina (I hope I got the spelling right) was the only server for a little bit and she handled several tables and walk ins and phone orders with grace. She’s so attentive and SO nice! There are regulars I can tell she remembers their names and orders. Just cool to see. The big boss guy is also great.

This is hands-down the best place for a real burger in Swansboro. In fact I would put it up against any burger in the Crystal Coast area. This is NOT like the newer Highway 55 locations. It's old school, and a good burger takes a minute to make. The milk shakes are also old school and there's hardly anything like them. I don't know who's behind these delicious Patty's but he deserves a raise. I hope this place never changes. I'd add a photo but I ate all my food already.

Highly Recommended! We visited for the first time yesterday and got food to go, their customer service is superb, food was delicious! Lots to choose from, at great prices. The milkshake we got to try was fantastic, it was lemon flavored and we were surprised on how good it was. We got our food in a timely manner, didn’t wait more than 10 minutes. The only thing that I advise is to add ketchup and mustard, along with napkins on the to go orders, we noticed a little too late. I can’t wait to stop by again and give them another try!

The food is always fresh and delicious. Customer service is friendly, we loved having Hayley as our waitress. Prices are extremely affordable.I would recommend the orange aide!

Food was awesome. The service was awesome first time going there. People were very polite and caring will come back again. I live in Michigan.
