Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

I'm not one to leave a review, but after giving this Hwy 55 a chance every Monday for the last 6 weeks, I must. The first 2 visits the food was good. Although we waited for more than 20 min without a line in front of us. Everytime after the food has gotten worse. The burgers are so hard and rubbery around the edge we can't eat them. The chicken sandwich today (because we gave up on burgers) was SO overcooked you couldn't even bite through it. The lemonade and orangeade are sugarwater. Theres barely a trace of citrus. I couldn't even tell which was lemon and which was orange. Even the kids cheeseburgers are so rubbery my kids can't eat it. There always SO much mayo I have to wipe it off. (And we love mayo!) If we've had this experience 6 weeks in a row, I can imagine others are too. I'

I’ve come here many a time and had wonderful food - I usually get the chicken cheesesteak and it’s amazing. Today, not so much. It came out looking like much canned chicken (or cat food). The servers were awesome and offered to have another made. The other one came a few minutes later - not quite their normal, but hey, they chicken was cohesive. However, 1 bite in, I found out that sending it back was a terrible choice, as the new one had a vengeful level of black pepper in it (and I like pepper!), so was inedible after a couple bites. Not down to one star as they did insist on a discount on the check, despite me saying it wasn’t necessary. I’m not complaint to warn anyone away or say things a bad place, but rather to flag this for management as an opportunity. I plan to be back in a few

**DANGER PLEASE READ*** The counter top has a some areas that are sharp and will cut a customers skin easily. This is a dangerous situation, when you get customers trying to have lunch (can you imaging not coming back to work, and have to call your boss because you got cut at hwy55 restaurant). I have come more than twice in a two month peroid and there are no fixes. Seems management does not care about customers well being. Restaurant should focus on safety as well. Kids menu is also great. Nice place for family, friends and even eat alone. If safety issues gets solved.

This place is gross. I have been here a couple times and every single time it has been awful, both the food and service. The cooks ALWAYS prepare your order wrong. I have had to have sent my burger back to me remade each time. The food is atrocious. Every single thing here tastes like it was doused in grease. You will literally only taste grease with any item you buy here. Just go to the Bojangles.
