Hunter's Mexican Cantina and Grill

So I was in the area while traveling for business where I was hun-gry and I wanted so good, traditional Mexican food. Well I found it! Walking in ypu immediately get a sense this place has been servicing the community for years. I ordered the enchiladas, one with beef and the other with chicken. As you can see from the photo, they were huge! I was immediately attended to and walked to a booth. Waitress came by soon afterwards and got me chips and salsa and then quickly got me my drink. The atmosphere was great and had a lot of unique items area the booth and bar. They offer outside seating if you want it. Overall I had a great time and food was awesome, exactly what I was craving for. A lot of food for the price. Would come and eat again if I ever were to be in the area

Not so bad. Food and service was ok. There was a group of drunken women singing karaoke and screaming to the top of their lungs 🫁 Which made my mediocre experience worse. The queso was basura 🗑️ However, it was the option I chose to smother my burrito 🌯. My Potna had the nachos and as soon as our plates came out I knew I had made a mistake. Once he ordered nachos, I switched it up so I could have multiple photos for this review. Big mistake. 😂 So check em out if you’re ever in the neighborhood and Holla at a Playa. 👌🏾

This place has bad service. I was there for 30 mins and got nothing but salsa and chip. No one never came to take my order or bring at least some water. I watch 4 other couples come in and was serviced asap. The hey got their drinks and food before I talk to any one. The other people that came in was Caucasian. So it gave me races vibes. I told the manager how long I been in there. He just said o’aigh. I’m a big tipper so they lost one.

The food has big portions and the price is fair. The soda cups are huge, which I love, so I don't need to ask for a refill. I was not impressed with the lava cake. The cake should be warmed up, and the ice cream had ice flakes, which I personally don't like. I'm a creamy ice cream kind. Anyways I did love the barn house feel, and the table paintings are very cool. If y'all aren't taking advantage of their lunch specials then y'all are sleeping on a good deal $6.41 for chips, salsa, sweet tea (huge glass) and steak quesadillia with rice and beans. The best and cheapest I've eaten so well in a while. Wish I lived closer I'd be here everyday! Make sure you get Sarah to wait on you. Sweet Southern charm and smile 😃
