HungryBird (Chicken & Ice Cream)

First timer here. Surprised there was like only chicken sandwiches on the menu. Regular and hot. Many sauces to choose from as well. Service was fast and friendly. Food hot & fresh. Also had like chicken tenders sort of as well. Definitely recommend.

Great new chicken spot in Totowa- delicious food and super friendly staff. Very spacious and clean interior with a clear attention to detail, solid branding and design too! A variety of diverse flavors for the chicken sandwiches and sauces will keep me coming back to try other items on the menu. I started with to the sichuan spiced “Firebird” with garlic and herb sauce as per the staff’s recommendation and it was delicious- not too spicy at all and full of flavor. The ranch seasoned fries were very crispy and tasted great dipped in the same sauce as well as the butter bird sauce. The Lavender Honey Kiss Fizzo with whipped cream was a refreshing fizzy drink that paired perfectly with the chicken and fries. I’ll be back for the ice cream and other chicken sandwich flavors!

I visited yesterday and had cople of foods. Foods was really good and taste. Staff was so kind. Chicken sandwich is really good quality and sauces were something different!

Food: we both got the fire bird which is coated in sichuan oil & topped with slaw. The hungry bird fries with garlic herb, ranch, honey mustard and fire bird hot sauce (different than the one on the sandwich). The sandwich’s were soft AND crunch. Almost sounds like a rice crispy when you’re biting into it. All the sauces were a 8-10. Our top picks were garlic herb, ranch, honey mustard, fire bird hot sauce (which tastes similar to a truffle buffalo). The hungry bird fries are seasoned through out with almost a sweet ranch seasoning and each fry was crunchy. Food came out with minutes and was piping hot! I actually burned the roof of my mouth a bit and didn’t even realize it until I was done eating because the food was that good. I got the fizz-o lemonade and that was fresh and crisp. Place

Cute, clean, and courteous little chicken spot we just discovered. I got the fire bird, wife got the deluxe, and daughter got the kids meal. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Afterwards we craved something sweet and got the ice cream. It feels like they kind of cheaped out on the ingredients. Ice cream was not creamy, had a very watery consistency, the chocolate drizzled on was bland and underwhelming. Overall nice little spot but I would skip the ice cream.
