Hunan Yuan Restaurant

My family and I tried out hunan yuan for dinner. The food was okay. We were unimpressed by the orange chicken, which was a large disappointment. The garlic noodles were really good, the fried rice was just good, and the egg drop soup was great. The honey walnut shrimp was the best part of our meal. There are better local options. I didn’t do a price comparison with other local Chinese restaurants, but if they are lower priced, then they’d be worth it.

I came in for dinner and found the staff instantly put on (cheap) face masks…This was HIGHLY INSULTING!! FYI, they serve TWO different groups of people WITHOUT FACE MASKS!!! The food really wasn’t good either…

I don’t know how people receive great service in the other reviews. I took my parents. And it took them about 5-10min to tell us to seat ourselves where ever.. we sat and waited.. after 20minutes passed and looked at other tables that had been there before us with no food or water I figured we weren’t going to be served any time soon. So we left. No waters or anything was offered while we waited.

Great food, very friendly service and a clean restaurant. Highly recommend.

Food is always great. Very reasonable price for the quality and quantity. The service staff is always kind and friendly.
