Sat at the bar alone. Obed was a great bartender and will not disappoint. He gave great recommendations. Great place for a solo dinner. House margarita was surprisingly great. Ordered the shrimp ceviche and elote. Mind you I am a whimp with spicy but it was delicious finished both of them. Service was great and food came out quick for being the dinner rush. This is in March so a lot of people wanted to sit outside. Inside is cute and smallish. Will have to come back in the summer.

In the Tucson area and my first time here. Five stars on all three ratings! A Cozy dining area adds a personal touch for guests from out of town, family, or business meetings. Great food at great prices. The meals are carefully and thoughtfully prepared. I enjoyed the Homemade Mole as an additional choice of chili sauce. Their chips and salsa have a unique texture with the addition of green onions when dining in person. Different menu items for the “to go” option. Quaint festive vibe for the cold weather with outdoor patio heaters to keep you warm while you are imbibing on their tasty craft drinks. Reservations are welcomed and requests for catering are encouraged!

We decided to try a new place this past Saturday which happen to be Valentines day in Tucson. We are a family of 4. Service was great and food was just ok. I had the chilaquilas w/birria they came out practically cold. My husband ordered birria mole enchiladas he said they where ok but needed some more flavor. My son ordered rolled shredded meat tacos idk where the meat was because I didn't see any in them. My daughter ordered the red menudo she said it was just ok too. The only thing I really liked was their rice no hard ones in there. Oh and we ordered the roasted corn as an appetizer. That was good but have had it way better at other places. I’m a transplant from California where great Mexican food is always just blocks away. It’s been a struggle here but this place finally scratched the itch. I just had the tacos and my wife had sopes. Presentation was sweet. The dishes were pretty. Sauces were flavorful and just perfect in heat. We spied people at another table and their food look really good. And ours taste like I remember good Mexican food should taste. I’m really happy to have found Humo. Just to add, this isn’t like a date place you get dressed up to be at. But it’s clean and comfortable. We sat inside but it was pretty out today, should have sat outside. This will be our go to now.

Cute restaurant. Enjoyed the mezcal cocktail. my favorite was the nopal & steak taco. the quesobirria was good too since it was not too greasy and had plenty of meat. the menudo is served with bread and my husband liked it. We would come back.
