Hummingbird Nutritious Eats

I just wanted something light for breakfast. After scouring the menu for exactly what I wanted, I landed on a tomato jam toast. Sourdough bread with some sort of cream sauce, arugula (that may have been a little too charred), cooked grape/cherry tomatoes with a tomato jam on top. Everything really worked together on this toast and I loved the natural sweetness of the tomatoes and the jam..it tasted a bit like I was having my mom's spaghetti sauce. They have filtered water on tap. It's roomy, bright, and clean. There's tables, or if you'd like you can grab a seat at the counter that faces out toward the street. Love Hummingbird! So refreshing to find a healthy, grounded place such as this. The food is wholesome and filling, delicious and fun - unique too! My favorite is the carrot chickpea curry. The desserts are amazing and I don't feel guilty eating them :-)

A great find! Vegan and vegetarian dishes that are unique, healthy, and fresh. I was very impressed with the flavor and texture of the ingredients. The counter service was very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, with lots of window seating. We will definitely return.

Had to come to Haverhill for fingerprinting and I asked the lady there for recommendations for lunch. Was sent this way and am I glad! Both the KFC and Eggplant sandwiches were the most filling and delicious sandwiches I've had in a while. Plus I didn't feel bloated or yucky afterwards. A vegetarian paradise.

Wow. Some of the best vegan (quick serve) food I have had in years. Kudos to the chefs for bringing such delicious food, dessert, and coffee to their restaurant. Wish this place was much closer to the North Shore, but it’s worth a trip up for. They also have pre made meals and drinks available as well
