Hugo DeLuca’s Deli

As a born and raised New Yorker, unfortunately New York has disappointed me! How could this small deli hidden in NJ, deliver one of best sandwiches and a breakfast platters I’ve ever had???? This isn’t your typical deli that just serves anything you ask for, oh no! They’re giving you a home made meal made with love with e perfect amount of seasonings, the just right amount of everything! I’m blown away & seriously thinking of driving an hour for whenever I want a real deli sandwich! I wish I lived closer so I can try everything on the menu! Seriously anyone that lives nearby you are truly blessed! My husband & I had the triple decker blt & pancakes with home fries, hash browns and sausage links!

I tried Hugo DeLuca’s on opening day, but was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the place ran and how tasty the sandwiches were. I shared the porchetta and the chicken cutlet with a friend and thought both were delicious. I may have liked the porchetta a little more, but only just a by a little bit. Best of luck!

Now this is how you make an Italian sub. Lots of meat, fresh soft thinner, roll and great quality cold cuts. So happy to have a deli back in Newton that can make a great Italian sub.

My boyfriend and I got some sandwiches for the first time today, he said the sausage and peppers was the best he has EVER had! My crispy eggplant sandwich was great as well! We will be back!

My new favorite sandwich shop, 10x better than a similar store in Sparta. Hugo sandwich was flavorful, AWESOME chicken cutlet, and the bread was on point. Will absolutely be back for more! A++
