Huerta Taco Stand

They make their tacos in front of you!! Such a unique set up. Their herb garden is right next to the stand, giving us the freshest ingredients possible. Tacos, taco salad (on tuesdays), and bacon wrapped hot dogs (on fridays) are all unparalleled.

The morning breakfast burritos are bomb. Highly recommend. Good (or bad?) thing they're only a short walk away!

Disappointing was our experience at Huerta! If you like cold greasy tacos this is the place for you. After 30 minutes waiting for the buzzer that never went off we checked on our order only to be told by the young gentleman taking the orders and I quote “oh, yeah, your order had been here for a while”. Turns out their pagers don’t have the best range and don’t reach the other side of the building. If someone had told us we would have remained on the north side. There was no offer of even replacing our cold food. The icing on the cake or in this case the tacos, was the grease that dripped from it and saturated the tortillas, or perhaps it was the hunk of fat on the carnitas taco. Wishing we never tried this place. On the bright side the atmosphere at the farm was great and we really enjoyed

My favorite tacos in north county! The fish tacos and carnitas are 11/10. Speedy service too
