Hudson River Crest B&B

What an amazing bed and breakfast. Last year we stayed for one night and last week were delighted to return, this time for 3 nights, we’d love to stay longer another time.|The house is set in a beautiful garden overlooking the Hudson River and forested banks on the other side of the river. We had use of tables and chairs to sit out in the warm sunshine, wine, snacks, coffee and tea.|Our room had its own deck also overlooking the river. The room and ensuite bathroom were spotless.|The breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had at any hotel. Fresh fruit, warm homemade muffins (gluten free made for me) and a delicious cooked breakfast.|Bill and Lynn told us lots of local attractions and recommended several good restaurants. Bill and Lynn are the host and they are very genuine wonderful people who will make sure that you’re happy and have everything you need. My wife and I make an annual fall trip for our anniversary have stayed at many B and Bs, and we would rate HRC near the top. We stayed with several other couples who felt the same. Innkeepers/owners Bill and Lynn are accommodating and gracious hosts. Amenities included snacks and wine; treats such as homemade brownies and muffins were absolutely delicious and baked daily. Breakfasts were of restaurant quality. Individual preferences and dietary needs were no problem. The rooms were nicely appointed with beautiful furniture. We stayed in the Hudson Room, the largest, with a very comfortable king-sized sleigh bed, and a balcony with a spectacular view of the Hudson River Valley. Incredibly gracious hosts / innkeepers! Breakfasts cooked and served to perfection. Room A+, Location above the River is cozy, romantic and relaxing. All this only 95 minutes from home! Spectacular Fall views - perfect weekend getaway!

The Hudson River Creat B&B is a very great place to stay. Lynn and Bill are excellent hosts, the breakfast is amazing. Lynn goes out of her way to bake fresh muffins, they are served right after they come out of the oven. Lynn has home made delicious brownies which are available for the guests. The place is super clean, the room is very spacious everything is just perfect. The view is breathtaking. All in all it is a marvelous place to stay. We would highly recommend it.
