Houston TX Hot Chicken

Houston’s Hot Chicken in Tempe is an absolute vibe. Perfectly located right by the ASU arena on the downtown college campus, this spot is a must-stop if you’re craving real flavor. The tenders, fries, and sandwiches are all on point crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. No long lines, no crazy wait, just good energy and great food. Plenty of TVs around, so it’s an easy go-to to catch football or any other game while you eat. The atmosphere is chill and welcoming, whether you’re stopping in between classes or hanging out downtown. And let’s talk about the drinks the lemonade was amazing, but the cucumber lemonade stole the show. Refreshing, unique, and the perfect balance to the heat. First time trying it, I went with mild just to test their scale and it definitely was not mild and lacked any spicyiness at all but the chicken itself was great. Though not spicy it still had good flavor and cooked well. Good flavor profile on the chicken with their sauce, slaw, pickles, bun. Will come back eventually and try some hot flavors. Decent value. Paid $16.20 after tax for the photo attached

I have been to Houston's Hot Chicken 4 times now. I went twice in Vegas, and twice to this location. All four times I have had amazing experiences with their food! Their chicken sandwiches are are big and super tasty, their tenders are juicy and easy to pull apart, their salads are delicious, and their French fries and house sauce are bomb!

This is my go to place when I'm in the mood for some delicious fried chicken 🤤 my go to is the lemon pepper which is amazing and the spicy which is just the right level of spice that I love. I've tried their lift off level of spice and let me tell ya it packs a kick! Which i also enjoy. Not just spicy but amazing flavor. I cant get enough of their chicken! Edit: I guess they no longer serve lemon pepper? Management told me its seasonal? Well unfortunately thats what brought me there in the first place so now need to find a new chicken spot for my lemon pepper craving . Just ok. Chicken was crispy but bread so dry. Nothing amazing, Dave’s hot chicken is better. Their chicken tender is huge, it’s like half a beast. Mac and cheese was soggy and tastes artificial. Inside was clean but when Bringing out food didn’t tell us which sandwich was which spice. Soda had a weird aftertaste. Needs to get clean or recalerbrated
