House of Yakitori

I absolutely recommend this place to dine at. The food is made by request and not sitting on a hot plate or anything like that, it's fresh. But the decorations on the inside? Oh it's absolutely something to love. As a first time guest, I want to say I appreciate the family photos. It feels like they are sharing family and culture with us and it's just an honor to be had. Finally, you are treated like a guest. I know some places are a bit less than that, but the folks at the counter were very kind. Take your time and enjoy things here OR you can order take out too. But either Way, you will have a good time.

First time trying yakitori, and I really like it! We were greeted by a friendly older gentleman, and I basically ordered by pictures from reviews, I got 3 plates and 3 egg rolls for $35! I usually give you guys the exact name if tge dish but today was hectic, and it was a random stop I wasn't counting on. I will include pictures if the food and the uniqe and beautiful interior decor.

This is a Colorado Springs staple! I remember going to the one downtown on Kiowa in the 80s. Nothing has changed. Except you don't get kids meals in a plastic 57 Chevy anymore!

Got the Yakitori and gyoza lunch special. Everything was delicious and well made. It came out quickly and piping hot. It was a great deal, the quality and volume of food were both well above the price of the meal?

Great staff and overall experience. Food was very fast and yummy but a little overcooked. Next time I will order from the dinner menu because lunch portions were a bit small for me.
