Hot Wok

I used to go here like 5 years ago on and off when i used to work around this area one summer. Recently i decided to get food from here after all these years and overall it’s literally some of the best chinese food I’ve ever eaten in the Phoenix area. Prices are really good as a lunch special ($7 for sweet and sour chicken which is what i got) and the portions are large. They also, since i ordered sweet and sour chicken, give a decent sized cup of sweet and sour sauce on the side to use. They understood the assignment thats for sure! 😆 Definitely recommend if you are looking for reasonably priced chinese food that tastes amazing!

My partner and I enjoyed the large order egg drop soup and teriyaki chicken platter with two waters. Very reasonable prices for a couple. Portion sizes just right. The food is delicious, although nothing spectacular. I mean what can one really expect from soup. The chili oil did add to it although I was hoping for a bit more oil than chili flakes. The food wasn't super hot temperature wise, which in a way was nice not burning our mouths. The interior wasn't exactly a 5 star restaurant but was clean ish. The staff seemed friendly and engaging. One also has to remember other cultures have varied ways of communication and interaction and to be respectful. Overall, I give it 4 stars.

My family and I will no longer be patrons of this establishment. We ordered online as we always have. When my husband showed up to pick up the food, the cashier was very rude to him and claimed she called him multiple times. Not true. To top off the rude customer service, they forgot our crab puffs. The Mongolian beef was a pound of onions and peppers with a few slivers of meat. Fried rice was full of uncooked onion chunks. We only eat here because of their chicken sticks, but even that won’t be worth the experience moving forward.

Wow! Just experienced the absolute delight that is Hot Work's lunch special, and I'm still buzzing from the deliciousness and incredible value! For a mere $11.50, I walked away with a generous serving of their stellar orange chicken – perfectly tangy, sweet, and those crispy edges? Divine! But wait, there's more! Nestled alongside that orange goodness were not one, but TWO perfectly fried egg rolls, each bite a satisfying crunch followed by flavorful filling. And as if that wasn't enough, a comforting small soup with crackers rounded out this feast. Seriously, the amount of food I got for such a reasonable price is astounding. I love this place! The prices and portions are very fair especially in this economy. I absolutely love the pot stickers. They taste homemade and are huge! The female in front is always there with such a great energy, attitude and smile. Always recommend
