Hot Tuna Wok & Roll Bar - Asian Inspired Dishes and Sushi

Very rarely do I ever give a restaurant 5☆'s across the board. The moment I walked in, I was already impressed with the atmosphere. The name of the restaurant feels like it "screams" more heavily into "Sushi", but don't let that fool you. I personally felt the menu truly shined in their hot plates. The Miso Glazed Salmon was cooked to a perfect level of medium-rare and accompanied with a creamy edamame mashed potatoes and brocolini. Variety of small plates and starters like the Crab Ragoon dip and Salmon truffle plates are a great way to whet your appetite. Wait staff were attentive and served us well. Nick was an absolute gentleman and was very informative with the menu and made ordering that much easier. I look forward to seeing how much more I can be impressed upon my next visit. I hop

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Today was our first time trying Hot Tuna for Valentine’s Day and I was blown away. I am a total sushi lover and this is by far the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. The tuna tataki and Wok N Rolls were perfect freshness and flavor wise on a whole new level. On top of that, we had wonderful service from Jamie who was super friendly, attentive, and cool! I can’t wait to come back and hope to have her as our server again!! Just wow! ❤️🩷 Also - side note, making a reservation online for this place is the way to go! They got us checked in quickly and seated promptly.

Food was NOT good except for the crab Rangoon. The sushi platter was just ok, nothing special. We ordered miso soup and it was super salty. We hoped the rest of the dishes would be much better. No such luck. The other dishes were super sweet or super salty with no authentic flavors. We were beyond disappointed. Don’t believe the reviews. The only thing that was good about this restaurant is the atmosphere. The chef is definitely not trained in cooking Asian dishes. Save your hard earned money and eat elsewhere. We wished we did! Our group left beyond disappointed and had to go eat elsewhere because the food here was so bad!

Had a reservation this evening at Hot Tuna to take my kids out for a late Valentine's celebration and sat in the green room. It was absolutely amazing. The staff were fabulous, the bartender and waitress allowed me to curate my own mocktail, which was delicious! It was my kids' (18 & 12) first time there so we had to try a few things, and our waitress was amazing and patient with us taking our time. I love the ambiance of the green room, and the chairs with cushions are incredibly comfortable! Food was so fresh and delicious as always!

This place did not disappoint and definitely deserves 5 stars. Our server was so kind and accommodating. I had the Cherry Blossom roll, Salmon sashimi, and my daughter had the stir fry noodles with chicken and we shared a cucumber roll. We DEVOURED. The noodles were so yummy and flavorful for being a kids menu item. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I have to say that the amazing staff is what truly made this an even better restaurant experience. You just don’t get that everywhere these days. We will definitely be back and request Brooke’s section (I really hope I am remembering her name right, forgive me if not lol). Edit - we brought home takeout from here to our family and they also approved, and can’t wait to come in and get the full experience for themselves! ❤️
