Horizon Golf Course

This is a great golf course, but the staff does not care about people parking near greens or slow pace of play. I went out here to play with some friends and we had a group of 10 in front of us that would not let us play through and when we told the clubhouse about it they wouldn’t do anything about it. They were too scared about losing members This was absolutely unacceptable and it sucks because this is a great golf course

My husband loves this golf course. I am not a golfer myself, but I tag along for the sunshine, the cocktails, and the photo ops! It has a nice pond by hole 2 with a few ducks. There is a fair amount of trees for shade. The fairways are often beautiful and green. My husband says Javier Delgadillo and Dustin Blair at the shop are great guys They really know their stuff and are always helpful when it comes to coaching and club fittings.

Horizon Golf Course offers Harvest Hosts overnight stays, and I found it to be a very convenient stop. The parking lot was large with ample space for my truck and 30-foot trailer. It felt like a safe area of town, was well-lit at night, and was positioned right next to a grassy section of the driving range. There’s plenty of room for any size rig, making it a solid option for travelers. Inside the clubhouse, there’s a men’s locker room with plenty of bathroom stalls and four showers—although only two appeared to be working. The facility also used to have a pool, which looks like it’s waiting for renovations. I went for the first time the other day and the atmosphere was great and Iris took great care of me with her charm and hospitality! Thanks for a splendid time!

Would give 2.5 stars if there's decimal 😝 Yes, they just finished maintenance of their greens, conditions are good, but somehow it's too fast, probably the most difficult greens in El Paso. But this is not the reason of 2.5 stars, main reason is that the course circles around the neighborhood, and there's no clear direction and signs, we got lost twice 😅 (and many other golfers met the same situation). Fun part is that if you play in the afternoon, Hole 17 is totally against the sun, 🌅 you barely can see your ball after your swing, so you end up trying to find your ball by sense of your own swing 😆
