Hope & Olive

What a great recommendation from our Inn Keeper. We had the most wonderful experience here. Service was next level amazing, Wren felt like family by the end of our meal. The meal was absolutely delicious, we had the hush puppies as an appetizer, they were sooo good. Then we had the Salmon and a Burrito for dinner, both were amazing. The coconut cream pie for desert was so delicious. All the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. A perfect night out.

Always welcoming, food is very creative. Zane was an excellent waitperson. Menu changes which keeps it interesting but if you have a favorite it may not be there every time. When it’s crowded, it can get really loud and don’t count on being able to sit for long at your table after your meal, but you may be politely asked to relocate to the bar area, if there’s room. We were surprised by this, and while understandable it was a bit awkward as we were only a table of 2. Despite that it was a lovely evening, good food and tasty drinks and catching up with an old friend after not seeing each other for years.

So glad to have stopped in to Hope & Olive while briefly in the area for work. The restaurant was bustling and it was obvious from many of the staff/guest interactions that many were regulars or repeat visitors. Halfway through our meal, we knew why- the food was incredible, cooked with care and seasoned to perfection. Jeff, our bartender/server, was an absolute delight! He brought so much joy into every connection. He also makes a *mean* espresso martini! Both the drinks and food are so, so reasonably priced despite the exceptional quality. The vibes inside were great from the second we walked in and there were so many cute corners and nooks for groups of all sizes to enjoy meals and conversation. 10/10, the food is always fantastic. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. If they have the chocolate cake on the dessert menu its a must (think of the cake in Matilda).

Stopped by Hope & Olive and ordered the Tempeh Reuben—a delicious masterpiece worthy of the Jedi Council. Bold flavor, perfectly grilled, and packed with plant-powered goodness. The unsweetened iced tea was crisp and refreshing—no sugar, no nonsense. Staff were as friendly and attentive as a well-trained Padawan. Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area. The Force is strong with this one!
