I oredered the gift box: green mug , light roast coffee & chcolate covered espresso beans, a coffee sack, 2- 10 oz blonde bombshell. 1st order: I recieved 1 green mug, 1 light roast coffee 1 coffee sack & 1 blonde bombshell. I called notified the woman I spoke too she was quite snarky....she never sent me a tracking email or an email the product was shipped...as I leave today for 1000 mile drive to Southern California from Oregon. 2nd order to make up for the missing items on the 1st order: 1 10 oz Blonde Bombshell....where is my mom's chocolate covered espresso beans from the 1st order not arriving. So now not only do I still not have the complete order I asked for..I am still short the choclate covered espesso beans, atleast the could have gotten the 2nd order correct or threw somethin

Purchased the lighthouse roast from my local grocer. Even before brewing, I could tell by the color of the grounds and aroma that the roast description was perhaps off. It is described as a light roast with hints of citrus and honey. This roast tastes darker and more bitter. Not bad coffee, just poorly described imho.

Grabbed a bag of Smoldering Volcano at the store on a whim cause I liked the art on the bag and buy smaller bags of better coffee instead of Folgers crap. Honestly it smelled semi burnt out of the bag but it's one of the best cups of coffee I've had out of a French press. Low acid, very smooth. Dark roast might be a little much but will try other flavours from them.

Far and away the best coffee you will ever get a chance to enjoy! Not only is it sourced responsibly, not only is it environmentally friendly, but it is amazingly good! Right now my favorite is Holy Smokes, but in the past I have also enjoyed Fogbuster, River Blend, and several others. The coffee is consistently of the highest quality and the air roasting process produces deliciously roasted beans covered with oils like you have never seen before. This is the best coffee I have ever had and the coffee to which I will compare all others. Stop settling for coffee and start drinking Pierce Brothers! Life is too short for any other kind of coffee.
