Hop River Trail Parking @ Kings Rd

I grew up in the Rails to Trails out over in Bolton. I would travel, hike, bike, and dirtbike up and down this trail almost daily. To see it still in great condition 15+ years after first-time experiencing it and I am beyond words how much I am still in love with this place. I truly enjoy the additions they have added over the year such as the bridge in Andover along rt6, and my favorite addition / retention being the lil bits of history located on and a long side the trails especially the pictures and little blurbs located on posts explaining events, as well as what use to be around the trail "railway" and who and what used the train.

Nice easy trail that follows the river

Beautiful trail with lots of hidden areas but both me and my S/O and my dog came back e with over 20 ticks each on us after just walking on the main trail, couldn’t imagine if we went in deeper. All very tiny but still

I love this network of well marked and maintained trails. It's perfect for short walk or a nice bike ride. And if you're up for a challenge you can really get some mileage by extending your journey on the connecting trails.

Lived down the road. Used this trail on dirt bike years ago. Loved it. Went up to the d rt 6 rope swing years ago. Walk it the other day. What a blast to go back in time 30 years since I have been there. Nice place.
