The food was good, but the overall experience was disappointing. We spent about $150 for two adults, which felt too expensive considering the service. Our server seemed uninterested, he forgot to bring gloves, forgot an extra drink, and was rarely around when we needed anything. He brought the check without us asking and came back multiple times just to see if we had put our credit card down, which felt rushed and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, the food was alright, and the service was exceptional. Special thanks to our waitress, Genevieve — she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. She made the experience even better!

I had a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience at Rook & Reel. When my party arrived, we asked if a booth was available. They seated us at a table I clearly saw a booth that was already cleaned and had a paper on it, so I asked the other hostess who was assisting Emily if it was open. Before she could answer, Emily nudged her and said, “Say no.” They then told us the booth was not available, which was not true, because shortly after, they seated another party at that exact booth. Once we were finally seated, things only got worse. Two servers were called to the front, and Emily and the other employee pointed at me while talking, which made me extremely uncomfortable. I think this is a great place to eat. The food is always good and the service is also very good. Sometimes it takes a little while to get seated even though there's lots of open tables. I don't know why.

Danielle has been our server the last two times my boyfriend and I have gone and she is so kind and attentive! The food and service is amazing and we will definitely be coming back as much as possible.
