Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

Rosa was extremely professional and personable. She explained everything to me as far as the menu and how to order since this was my first time. We didn’t even have to call her for refills on anything because she came back and checked on us periodically. I definitely Think Rosa should win this competition, hands-down!

I had the catfish basket. The fish was fried and little too dark and the fish filets were very thin. The sweet potato waffles were delicious and the rum punch was satisfying. Overall, the food was seasoned well. The guy next to me had the fried oyster basket that looked really. I'll visit again for sure

For starters I came to this restaurant with a party of 7 when we walk in we were NOT greeted. We stood at the front for a good 7 minutes waiting to be seated. I was unsure why because the restaurant was NOT busy at all ! Finally we get seat then it took another 5 minutes before the server came over to get our drink order. We all ordered AYCE and I will say the food was good but the server wasn’t she was not very attentive never refilled our drinks I feel like that 18% gratuity being added make the servers feel they don’t have to do any work because they already know they will at least get 18%. This location service is always way below bare minimum.

Johana was our waitress on 2/13/26 & She was very kind & very attentive to refilling our drinks & just overall on top of everything. This is our 3rd time eating at Hook & reel, this was just a different location for us & it was by far the best! My hubby & I ordered coconut shrimp 🦐 which was FIRE!! & We both ordered the “Reel Catch” seafood boil, also had 2 delicious drinks 🍹 Absolutely amazing, we will be back!! 🦀🦞🦐

10/10 experience, highly recommend, food is amazing- wait time reasonable, very clean environment. Amazing staff, recommend to have Luis as your waiter, he was attentive, kind and made our visit very welcoming given it was our first time. He was very patient and polite with our huge table 🙏 this place is a must try
