Hongdae Pocha

Spacious place, good food, and great service. I went for a birthday party for a reservation of 15 people. We sat in the main dining area. The serving size for plates was plenty so we shared family style. There is a karaoke place in the same building.

Food was fine not the best just typical bar food. The mood was chill and good but the bartenders attitude was disrespectful. It looked like she didn’t want to work. Besides that it is good place to hang out for late night beer.

It was my first time here and I loved everything about this place. ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND POLITE. The music selection is great. The food was amazing. The bathrooms are very clean. I didn’t feel rushed even for staying 2hours long. The vibes were positive! The pricing is reasonable or maybe even too good. Whenever you’re in jersey Exit 201 is a must. Oh and our server gave us a huge plate of nachos for free, we didn’t know why but that was super nice of him. He made our time there fun and worry free. Will be coming back!!

Go for drinks, not the food. We ordered the skewers (pork, gopchang, beef) which were dry and tough and the jjampong was really lacking. The jjampong was too salty and lacked any depth at all, the seafood that was in there was dry and chewy. Also there was barely any sujebi that we had to order more noodles and was still left with a lot of salty soup. The only reason is not lower is bc the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was good. But I guess this is a Pocha so makes sense.

We made a reservation here on Sunday. The waitress was not very polite from the beginning to the very end. If the place was crowded that would be more understandable but it wasn't. She gave attitude whenever we asked for something, for example when we order intestines it is supposed to go with the sauce too, but there wasn't any so we ask for it and she looked pretty annoyed, came in, then gave us small portions of the sauce. Moreover, when we asked for the takeout boxes, she didn't give them to us but instead she PUT THEM ON THE CHAIRS. How unsanitary. It is supposed to be a happy birthday night for my friend but unfortunately the night kinda disappointed everyone. The food was so-so, note that it can be a little bit pricey. Would come again one day once they change their attitude.
