Came for the first time and it was perfect on a Monday evening. Big screen was on showing the football game and it was very quiet. Service was excellent and prices are reasonable. Very clean restaurant with decorative Honduran culture all around. We'll definitely be back. Just be cautious of dense street parking.
We decided to stop by Honduras Kitchen after leaving Tokyo Noir to try their desserts. We sat at the bar and chatted with Maria, our super friendly server. They don’t serve hard alcoholic beverages, but they do have an amazing Passion Fruit juice that was extra delicious. Highly recommend ordering one! For dessert, we tried two different items: the rosquillas con ice cream and the apple crisp. Both were really good in their own unique way, the perfect sweet ending to the night. They also have a snack section my favorite! Lol. They were running a 3-bag special on their plantain chips, which are my favorite, so of course I grabbed some to go! Overall, we loved Maria and her energy, and we’ll definitely be coming back to try their full menu next time. A fun little stop with great service and
Honduras Kitchen is a hidden gem. I ordered the Pollo Guisado plate, and it was absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and tasted like true home-style cooking. I’ve also had their baleadas, and they are SO good—fresh, comforting, and full of authentic flavor. Highly recommend if you’re in Long Beach and craving authentic, feel-good food. 💛🍽️
Amazing service by Maria, she makes, your visit an experience, you actually feel at home. Maria works from Thursday to Monday ..
Truly genuine honduran food, my husband who is from honduras was very pleased with the food, it was delicious and authentic. We were hesitant to come after reading some reviews, but I'm glad we came after all. We've been to the LA location, and this location is fairly better. However, you do have to pay for parking or atleast spend some time finding a parking spot, so keep that into consideration. We had no wait time, the food came out quick and the server was incredibly nice to us. She was very attentive. The dining area was clean, and there were bathrooms available. The sopa de coracol tasted so good, and the pastelitos were delicious.
