Hometown Bakery

We had our wedding cake done through here in last October, I have to say I was beyond unimpressed. The cake was drier than dry can be, not moist at all. We froze a small tier to have on our 1 year anniversary and it reminded me of how bad the cake really was. Which is is disappointing because a lot of their other goods are very good. But being it was my WEDDING cake I expected more.

I love Hometown Bakery! Everything is always so good I devour it before I think to take a picture. Half eaten cupcakes pictured below. I love the chicken salad, the chicken paprikash soup, the pepperoni rolls, and the cupcakes are amazing of course! Everything I have tried here has been phenomenal. There are lots of sweets and baked goods and just as many hearty salads and lunch options to choose from. There is so much to try - I recommend to just go there!

This bakery is such a little gem for our town. All the delicious baked goods she makes are amazing but she also makes incredible soups and salads. Everyone is always so nice. Stop in and get a bowl of soup and a couple iced cookies. You will very happy.

Hometown Bakery is such an amazing place! Tracy, Britt and their staff are always friendly and wonderful! Their sugar cookies are absolutely the best I have ever had. I frequently get their chicken salad, wraps, soups and salads for lunch. Never a miss! Everything is delicious. If you are around Vermilion and looking for a quaint place to eat lunch or grab a treat, this place is a must. Thank you for all you do!

We love hometown bakery in vermillion . Worth 1hour plus drive. We especially like Cesar salad wrap and chicken salad. Love everything and staff so kind
