This is my favorite spot to sit with a group of friends, watch a game, and enjoy some delicious BBQ. I have been to both the West Ashley and Downtown locations multiple times and have yet to be let down by the service. I often arrive with a group of about five to eight people well before a game starts and have never had an issue. If you are coming for a game, I recommend getting there early so you do not have to stand around and wait for a table. Now for the food... it is so good! I am someone who loves sauces and condiments, so I absolutely love how each table has a variety of options you can mix and match instead of having to ask a server. I personally always get a meat platter with a side of coleslaw and mac and cheese or a pulled pork sandwich. You truly cannot go wrong here. Some of

GREAT VIBES GREAT STAFF GREAT FOOD. The fried ribs with the white sauce might be the best bite of meat I’ve ever had. The brisket chili and Brunswick stew were also great sides. My girlfriend got a burger with Mac and cheese as the side and it was also really good. If I visit Charleston again I will for sure be back!

Home Team never fails to exceed expectations! We had a group of about a dozen hungry men and it was 15 minutes before the kitchen closed...yet, we were seated, served, fed, and well taken care of by the entire staff. The food was quick, fresh, and tasty. The drinks were cold, wet, and fast. The server was polite, accommodating, and efficient. Overall, a great experience. And we come in as a group 4-5 times a year. So, they have solidified our patronage going forward. Well done!

If you’re craving some good BBQ, this place really hits the spot! The food was absolutely delicious—smoky, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Visiting from the UK, looking for authentic South Carolina BbQ - this place hit all the right notes. Sauce choice was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. I would run back!
