Holy Cow

Holy Cow had been suggested to me time and time again to try for their cheese- steaks. My spouse lived many years in Philadelphia, and as many of us know, cheese steaks are a big deal in Philly. So when it comes to having the best cheese steak, he's been my guide. Holy Cow did not disappoint. I loved the fact that they used the same rolls that are typically used in Philly for the cheese steaks. IMO, the bread makes all the difference, and we were definitely off to a great start. My husband ordered the Holy Smoke, which is loaded with a variety of peppers and onions. I stuck with a plain steak & cheese. While both were good, the Holy Smoke was definitely better. The peppers added such a nice flavor profile to the sandwich. If you're ever here and you don't mind the extras, I say definite

Super friendly staff and the steak Philly was amazing! The buffalo chicken Philly was also out of this world! Nice and spicy! Fries were super crunchy. Place was clean and people were in and out picking up or ordering food. Definitely will be back.

The cheese steaks here live up to their name because Holy cow! They are delicious! We have tried many cheese steaks across the nation, including the best spots in Philly but they don't compare to Holy cow. These cheese steaks are made with quality ingredients, the beef is soft, juicy and so flavourful. And the biggest plus was the char that is given to the meat, that takes it to the next level. We got the Holy cow and Meat & Potato cheese steaks. We are definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu items. Very friendly staff and the restaurant has very cozy vibes.

Visited this sandwich shop for the first time on a snowy day when they were not very busy. Ordered a classic Philly cheesesteak with sauteed onions and peppers. When I took my first bite of the sandwich and exclaimed "Holy cow, this is good!", I realized where the name of the restaurant came from. I have a reference for comparison as I visited my daughter often during the 4 years she was in college in Philadelphia and tasted several of the city's famous Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. I don't remember any tasting as good as the one I had here today. The au jus that was added was incredibly good. And, the steak was tender, lean, and beefy.
