Glad to see this place finally open and thriving. It's really wild how aggressive the townies were/are on the owner, someone opening an establishment that does offer what other places in the area have but at a higher quality. God forbid theres a wait or the staff are a little laxed (this is a chicken and pizza joint in Franklin, NJ not a 3 star michelin restaurant in NYC). The owner clearly put a lot of thought and money into the interior which should be refreshing for the majority of folks here who dine IN at McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts - good lord. My wife had the chicken tenders and enjoyed them. I am a pizza guy and it was refreshing to find a nice Detroit style pizza which you don't find too much of around here as most places just offer greasy cheese slop flavorless dough circles. I g
Love this new restaraunt! Its phenomenal. The nashville chick sandwich was insanely good. The chicken was crispy and super tender and flavourful, the bread crispy and nice. I was worried the coleslaw would be too tangy but it was not and just creamy and simply perfect. It went so well, and the chick sauce was spicy and delicious. Once the fries were seasoned with salt available, they were super crispy, potatoe-e, and succulent. The tator tots were also surprisingly good. The banana pudding was perfect to top it off! The prices are really cheap and worth it, and the vibe and atmosphere makes this a proper restaraunt, not a fast food place or diner but a real one with great food. The food came out quickly, got a table quickly as well despite how crowded it was, the chairs are super fancy an
Holy Chick truly goes above and beyond. We’ve been here twice already, and every single time the food, service, and atmosphere have been outstanding. On our second visit, they sold out of their Detroit-style pizza within the first 30 minutes of opening, which honestly speaks volumes. Even better, they were kind enough to let me customize a Neapolitan pizza that would’ve been the “Queen B” Detroit style pizza—that level of service is rare and so appreciated. The food is delicious and priced fairly, and everything we’ve ordered has come out no more than 10 minutes after we placed our order. For anyone saying they waited forever, that has not been our experience at all. A special shoutout to Lee, the owner—he is incredibly kind-hearted, loving, and hardworking. He greets everyone who walks
TL:DR - Did not live up to all the hype. Food was freshly made, but lacked promised flavors. Was disappointed when they did not have their own website (for ordering or otherwise), and the online menu they provided through Google had the tagline “Online ordering has been disabled by the business.” So I drove down to go put my order in at the counter. The first thing I noticed when going in was how it was a little difficult to communicate. There was music blasting over the speakers in the ceiling, and customers had to loudly talk at each other to be heard. I did not regret choosing to get my order to go. The cashier kindly took my order over the noise, and I sat nearby to wait. The arcade other reviews mention is tucked away in the back of the restaurant, by the door that goes outside to t
Holy smokes this restaurant is definitely one of the best in town! Let’s start with staff being super friendly and attentive the second we stepped in. Food came to our table in a reasonable manner and oh boy delicious is an understatement. We had pizza, chicken tenders, fries and a complementary cheese bread. We highly recommend it.
