Holly Vault Crossing House

I had an event at the Holly Vault last weekend on August 2, 2025. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. Such terrible service! It was very disorganized and the venue was not prepared for the event. Where guests were supposed to walk in and order drinks at the bar, the bar had a sign on it that read “bar closed” and there was no bartender to be found to guide guests where to ask for a beverage. This is completely unacceptable since I paid extra for a bartender that wasn’t provided for the first hour and a half of our short event (less than 4 hours). I had to ask for a bartender to serve drinks before they showed up to the bar over an hour late. Meanwhile, when I asked for water pitcher refills on the tables since no one was able to order a drink, I was treated very rudely. The

I wish I could give a better review, but I can't. The room was unbelievably small. That would have been tolerable if we knew that there was no shower. We chose the room with a hot tub, but we've never had a place not have a shower. It was so difficult to clean up, wash hair etc. in the morning . We thought the hot tub was an extra for the evening relaxation. There was only one window with daylight blocked by the headboard. Since I need the light and space to get ready, that was a problem. The bathroom was tiny and didn't have a mirror above the sink, which may not have been an issue for most. Since we were planning to get fixed up and prepared for an event, it slowed done everything. My husband and I stayed one night for our anniversary. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the innkeepers were very nice and the jetted tub was great! Breakfast was ok, but not nearly as nice as I've had in other B and B. There were some issues: our door did not lock because it was broken, the tv sound didn't work and we had a BAT in our room which took 20 minutes to get rid of at 1:00 in the morning! Not exactly the way you want to spend the middle of the night on your anniversary!! The train is literally right there which may not bother some, but be aware that it will come by several timed throughout the night. Not a bad place to stay, but not worth $175 either.

Recently rented this house for a wedding weekend. Bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are nice, but the basement bedrooms are small, dark and musty. Consider it a 6-bedroom house. ||The house was stocked with 2 bottles of wine, water and a basket of snacks. But there were no hair dryers or toiletries. ||The location is right in downtown Holly and convenient for events at the Holly Vault. It is also right next to the train tracks. Trains came through at all hours - and woke up everyone. The owners should replace the old windows with new, soundproof windows. ||It was nice to have a house where people could gather before and after the wedding, and there aren’t that many places to choose from in the area. ||We were only given one key - which had to be kept in the lock box, which was a pain in

My wife and I spent a very cold Valentines weekend at this B&B. Nice (and warm!) atmosphere with a very nice location to downtown Holly area. Bobbie and Dan made it that much more enjoyable. I was a bit concerned about the European-style Breakfast...since I'm a big breakfast person....but was pleasantly surprised...very nice spread. We will be back.
