Holly Township Library

Absolute horrible waste of money to "remodel". Looks absolutely horrible in this place now. An absolute waste of tax payer money. Whoever runs this place should be fired. The color scheme sucks. I literally couldn't stand to sit in there ... made me want to vomit.

I don't make it here much but my wife and kids go all the time utilizing all the additional programming the library offers. The kids always come home so excited to tell me about the fun things Miss Debbie puts on for the kids. The library doesn't leave the adults out either. They put on lots of events for adults and teens. They even include the adults in the summer reading program. It's incredible the things they are able to do with the small space that they have. I can't imagine if more funding were to come in what they would be able to accomplish.

A plethora Of great books they have a kid area full of toys and books the downstairs bookstore is amazing

We love this library. They always have something going on for the kiddos and the children's librarian, Debbie, is an absolute gem. You can tell how much she cares about the children. My kids and I absolutely adore her. Although our library is small it is mighty. Due to limited space they may not have every book, but what library can do that. The wonderful thing is that if you are seeking a book they do not have they will help to get a copy to you. They can borrow it from another library and you can pick it up from your home library. They also have a great selection of ebooks and audio books on Libby. They will help you find all the libraries that cooperate together that extends the Libby library for you. Never hesitate to ask questions at the library they are very helpful here.

I grew up in Holly and i remember the nice old ladies who used to work there, and would welcome you with a smile and hello. Today I took my kids there to the play room, and the new young staff who work there now are so un welcoming. They didnt even notice us walk past them at the counter. They also had earbuds in. Also everything there has turned to liberal woke crap. Only complement I can say is I like the Hobbit doorway they put in to the computer area.
