Holly Haven

My family & I stayed for the 1st time this year. I was nervous about a shared bathroom experience but it was not horrible. The only other downfall for me was no internet especially caring for my elderly Mom and checking in on cameras. Those 2 things aside, we enjoyed our time here! Our room was immaculate as was the whole place! The location is great right at Funland when with kids. Parking was tight but it was nice to have a spot. The porch was comfortable & enjoyable. Please know that Holly Haven is very simple & basic. There are no tv’s in the room & the furniture was definitely old but gave the room a vintage feel. There was a small fridge & microwave in the room. There are 3 floors and each floor has 1 shared bathroom. We stayed on the 1st floor & the bathroom was a little tight. Thir

I love to stay at Holly Haven. I’ve been going with friends for several years for a weekend in September. The house is always full and I meet the nicest people. The owner is available and enjoys spending time with her guests. The beach is convenient as well as shops and restaurants. The included parking space is a bonus. We appreciate her comfortable, breezy porch. A refreshing stay always.

We just returned from our stay at Holly Haven and are looking forward to a return visit. Our host, Haide, was accommodating and generous. While the rooms are modest, Holly Haven is by far the cleanest location I've stayed at the beach and is conveniently located within walking distance to many restaurants, the beach, and the boardwalk. The wrape-around porch and rocking chairs reminded me of the beach inns I stayed at as a child where we enjoyed visiting with other guest who come every year.

Great location within a half of a block to the beach. Very clean older apt above the garage. Lower floor has comfortable bedrooms (two). However the top floor has no air condoning. You have to leave the doors open where the main bedrooms are for the AC to travel upstairs. Mattresses upstairs are old, lumpy and uncomfortable. They are futons that unfold. Heidi is very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Great front porch to sit and relax or enjoy a meal. We would stay there again but would choose other rooms she has to offer.

Loved it! Will definitely stay there again. The feeling there is “ahhh”. The front porch, which is wrap-around, has plenty of seating for those guests who choose to hang out there ( I did my share, sipping the fresh-brewed coffee every morning ). The clientele are folks you enjoy chatting with because they too love it there and are repeat customers. Fantastic location on the beach block. Free parking on site. Outdoor showers. A sweet and accommodating proprietor named Heidi. I’m already looking forward to next time.
