Hollerbach's is a true and wonderful representation of German culture, sat in the quaint downtown of Sanford. I'm not a huge fan of German cuisine, but even I could appreciate just how good and authentic this place is. Oh, and they have root beer on tap and it is the BEST root beer I have ever had, maybe will ever have except actually in Germany. Their desserts were also fabulous, so I'd come back again literally just for root beer and dessert. The cake? Moist but not overly sweet, so delicate and delicious. My family member who's been to Germany many times was so excited when we were here, and she raved about how much the food reminded her of her travels there, which was high praise. It's got all the charm and fun, and gets super busy because it's the real deal.

Such a cool joint, felt like a really big place that offered indoor & outdoor eating options. This meal was so good and I added cucumbers to the side. Enjoyed this Spanish gluten-free beer from Barcelona. The waiter was extremely friendly and I love that I was able to bring my dog too.

I’d been wanting to try this place for a while, and I can’t believe it took me so long! The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. The long communal tables mean that smaller parties may share space with others when it’s busy, which adds to the lively atmosphere. There was a German band playing when we went, and it really set the tone for a fun, authentic experience. Many of the staff were dressed in traditional German attire, which added an extra touch of charm and made it feel like a true Bavarian celebration. It does get a little loud—especially if you’re seated toward the back—but it’s all part of the experience. They also offer both indoor and covered outdoor seating options. Our server, Coral, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The menus look like G

I had a delicious meal while visiting a friend. We came for brunch and entered through the Magnolia Square entrance instead of the main one, which I actually liked, it felt more intimate. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere and staff were wonderful. My only minor note: my schnitzel came with a salad, and there was a bit of confusion about whether it was for me or my friend. The staff member delivering it scoffed a little when clarifying, but aside from that, I loved this location on my first visit and will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area, as I visit Deland often.

Holla Back at Hollerbachs Started off with the salad, the dressing was refreshing like a tzatziki sauce and had a little vinaigrette tang at the end, beautiful intro, but that bread you could tell they bake it in house, tasted the homemade warm essence of it, excited to see what’s next Kasespatzel (basically a German Mac n Cheese) was good, the egg noodles had a nice tender texture, and even though the cheese level wasn’t extra sharp or cheesy it was light in a good way, the crispy onions on top is what really set it off The Chicken Schnitzel was beautifully breaded and fried to the crisp, had some type of cheese sauce on top and white asparagus( this isn’t available all year around, but I’m pretty sure the other flavors of schnitzel are banging as well) paired perfectly with the mac &
