VANELA CAKES

Made a wrong turn today and ended up at this GEM!! Just wow it’s often hard to find authentic yummy treats but each bite and sip brought me right back to the island. Such a loving and welcoming staff is only the cherry on top! Definitely a neighborhood staple and I recommend everyone to stop by and grab a treat and ask for the delicious coquito coffee!

Such a cute little bakery packed with goodies and the sweetest staff! I went in looking for the Biscoff cake, and even though they were sold out, they told me to hang tight and made one fresh for me on the spot. They seriously went above and beyond to make me feel welcome! Gracias por excelente servicio!

Highly recommend this place! The Biscoff cake was delicious. I was looking for a small birthday cake to give someone and this cake we shared was very delicious. For $9 I felt it was a good price considering the quality of the cake and icing. The middle layer was like the consistency of cookie butter. Yum! I am making the switch to support small local businesses instead of big corporations. I am so happy with my decision to buy a cake from Vanela Cakes instead of Walmart like I used to do. Also the inside of the shop is very clean and decorated girly and pink, super cute! The nice man at the counter also gave me a free sample of bread which was buttery and delicious. I am looking forward to going back and trying more things.

This bakery was so warm and welcoming. I felt like I was in my hometown in Guaynabo at one of the panaderías del pueblo. Very laid back environment. Can't wait to go back with my mom.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing bakery! The tres leches cake is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—super moist, perfectly sweet, and melts in your mouth. Everything looks and tastes fresh, and you can tell they put real love into their desserts. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend stopping by—this place is a gem!
