Holey Moley Daylight Donuts

Wow. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but this may change that. I went in this morning as soon as they were open. The first thing that struck me was even before that, and it was the smell of dough in the air. They have a drive-thru, but with it being my first time I went inside. The second thing that struck me was their choice of decor. Too many businesses are setting up their buildings like bland and boring office spaces (probably to make them better to resell when the store fails.) Not here. This had a very retro dining experience, but with bright pinks and blues that made everything stunning. They have records posted up on the walls with fun bits of history posted around. Lovely little donut shop with delicious and innovative donuts! Always a smile and a helpful word! We LOVE our small town donut shop!

Got a couple of donuts there, red velvet and cinnamon sugar twist. Both were pretty good. The place looks really neat, kind of like 50s themed I think. The prices aren't too bad either. Will definitely come back.

The donuts are the best I have ever had! I have lived here for 2 yrs and finally went about 2 wks ago and have already been a few times already. They are addictive and so yummy. I love creme filled and their white fluff just adds to the perfection of these homemade donuts! I am so happy I finally went and took the plunge. Also the place is just to cute. It looks like a 50s diner and they also play sock hop music, and everyone is so nice. Also make sure you check out their candles they smell just as amazing as their donuts. We will be back and I will tell everyone I know to get their donuts from y'all

Mattoon is truly blessed to have an actual bakery that makes fresh donuts! You can taste the difference! Please support local and you can pick your Favorites and have them filled with your favorite fillings! And always order at least one Pinecone!!!!
